Level 5 Composite
Amaranthine Level 5 Composite
In this level, you arrive in Briar after consulting with the King of Crueg to form an alliance to venture back into Amar to confront the Garroltis' Army. However, the town has been plagued by bandits and you receive a quest to deal with the bandits. Relative to the story and how the beginning of the game begins, you are playing as Allen Swiftstrike, Aiden's former Master as he is helping you with your quest. Swiftstrike exhibits the power of a fully fledged Amaranth and will exhibit the same game play principles you will come to demonstrate as Aiden later in the story/game. This will allow the player to see the game play they will come to expect as well as the potential of power they will possess as they grow themselves. The quest begins in the town of Briar as you fight off a detachment of bandits. Once victorious, you are forced to chase them back into their mountain base and confront the leader and commence a boss battle that will mark the first milestone in the game. Below is a composite of the map of Briar and the mountain border it is adjacent of.

You can also see the presence of NPC's that will interact with you through conversation or additional side quests. Another aspect of the game are the vendors that you will encounter that will sell you additional items/armor/accessories that will enhance your fighting potential. Below is a brief description of their roles.
Item Store - This vendor will sell you various items that will help you on your quests from Health Potions, Energy Potions, and Stat increasing potions.
Blacksmith - This vendor will repair your equipment when it suffers durability damage from constant use and wear.
