Chris Metzen - Blizzard Entertainment
Christ Metzen began his career in arts and animation. A friend quickly recommended he apply to Blizzard Entertainment after seeing his work. The company quickly recruited him and at the time he was unaware that the company heavily dealt with video game development. He started off contributing concept art and character art but continued to become the Vice President of Creative Development.
David Jaffe - Eat Sleep Play
David Jaffe attended USC pursuing a dream in direction movies but later turned to video games. He is best known for his automobile fighting games Twisted Metal and God of War under SCE Santa Monica. He later left SCE and opened a studio of his own, Eat Sleep Play. Under Eat Sleep Play, he is currently working on a reboot for his original series, Twisted Metal which is set to debut on the PlayStation 3.
Fumito Ueda - SCE Japan Studio
Ueda graduated from Osaka University of Arts and started his career as an artist. After going through several struggles he finally decided to pursue video game design. He started out designing games like Enemy Zero for Sega Saturn and in 1997 successfully joined SCE Japan Studio where he began work on cult classics such as Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. He often describes his work as "design by subtraction."
